Why Bother With All These Social Media Numbers?
I’m no fan of scrolling endlessly through nonsense.
But if you insist on being plugged into those attention-grabbing platforms, you might as well do it with a bit of strategy.
These stats… well, they’re the map through the madness.
- Knowing Your Crowd: All those figures tell you where people are hanging out online. Like a party — you wouldn’t show up to a chess club in a disco outfit, would you? Same goes for your social media presence.
- Playing to the Audience: People on those different contraptions, they’ve got different tastes. These stats show you what kind of chatter they like. Figure it out, and you won’t sound like a clueless tourist trying to order a burger in a vegan café.
- The Ad Game: If you’re going to throw money at getting noticed, you might as well make it land somewhere effective. These stats show you where to set up shop, so to speak.
- Staying on Trend: Social media, it’s like fashion. Always changing, and half of it is ridiculous. But even I keep an eye on the runway from time to time. These stats are your binoculars to spot the next big (and likely fleeting) obsession.
