As a person of color (100% Korean), I lived and worked in the hospitality sector in Greece for a year, and faced absolutely no hassle from anyone, neither police nor the public and I could enter anything from high end shops to casinos and luxury resorts - no background checks, no suspicion whatsoever.

I went to Athens, Corfu Island, and lots of other places - met nothing but friendliness and hospitality.

So you’re being as ignorant as those you accuse of the very same to judge an entire nation and all of its citizens based on your subjective experience - no, I am not saying that what you experienced was okay in any shape or form, actually quite the contrary, it’s horrible you had to face such harassment and mistrust from people - but that’s the individuals it reflects upon - not an entire nation.

I got tattoos visible on both my arms and no I don’t flash them or anything, but I don’t hide them either. In many other countries a person with dark skin and tattoos spells troubles in most minds, but not one of that in Greece.
