In my early twenties, I founded an esports club. It found surprising success — a thrilling experience that ignited a pattern I still recognize today: I thrive when there’s a bit of fear.
That nagging feeling of “what if it all falls apart?” has fueled some of my best work, though it definitely sounds strange to admit it.

This relentless need to prove myself, the constant strive for perfection, can be exhausting. But it’s what propels me forward.
I’ve learned that many successful people I know grapple with similar anxieties. We excel because those fears keep us hungry, driven, and hyper-focused.
Protecting My Focus
Early in my career, I felt the need to keep up with every critique, every whisper of success or failure in my field.
That just led to burnout and even more doubt.
So, I built a kind of bubble around myself. I don’t obsess over feedback, and I actively avoid things that trigger my anxieties.
