To A (Surprisingly Simple) Unisex Routine for Happy, Healthy Skin. By Jin Park.
Look, I get it. As a Korean guy adopted and raised in Denmark, skincare felt like a foreign concept for most of my life. I grew up thinking skincare was strictly for the ladies.
My dad’s routine consisted of bar soap and a splash of whatever aftershave was on sale.
My idea of a “facial” was getting smacked in the face with a football.
But then, reality hit. Stress, late nights coding, and one too many questionable hotdogs started wreaking havoc on my skin.
Plus, let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to look their best? Even if it’s just to avoid getting carded at the liquor store.
So, I reluctantly dipped my feet in K-beauty. But instead of drowning in a 12-step routine with more products than a chemistry lab, I took a minimalist approach.
Turns out, you don’t need snail slime and panda face masks to achieve a healthy glow.
I’m living proof that a simple, streamlined routine can work wonders. My skin is clearer, smoother, and dare I say, even a bit radiant.
And the best part?
