Medium's algorithm tries to predict what you may or may not like based on your reading history, so it probably just assumed you simply couldn't get enough of that author, needless to say, it's not exactly perfect.

But I totally get why you would get tired of a repeat pattern, luckily there's many other very very talented writers out there!
