Spot on!

We often overlook the ordinary miracles in our lives – good health, a loving partner, a cozy home.. Dismissed as mundane until they're gone, and then suddenly, they were everything.

It's like realizing your favorite pair of jeans were your favorite only after they've been outgrown or worn out.

Maybe it's human nature to constantly seek the extraordinary and overlook the everyday blessings.

But your reminder is poignant: happiness isn't about the grand moments; it's about the absence of unhappiness. It's about recognizing and appreciating the "ordinary" while it's still around to be enjoyed.

I guess the best we can hope for is to learn to appreciate what we have before hindsight kicks in and starts teaching us lessons we could have learned in the moment.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful insight. It’s a timely reminder to live in the present and find joy in the simple things.
